Accounting
Wholesale Florist Distribution Company wanted to easily scan, index and store Proof of Delivery documents that constantly had to be retrieved. They also were running out of storage space and decided document imaging was the technology that would help them. They investigated several companies and chose D.I.S.C.’s DocsServer product because of it’s built in ability to index by barcodes printed on the invoices and the ease of use do to the simplicity of operation provided by the turnkey design of the system.
National manufacturing company was storing thousands of invoices annually that were sent to the corporate office from several remote plant locations. The amount of space and time required to manage the paper invoices was becoming a problem and it was decided to investigate document imaging technology. After evaluating several vendors they chose D.I.S.C., Inc. as the solution provider. Today the invoices are printed with barcodes and are scanned from the different plant locations with digital copiers back to the home office. The DocsServer System utilizes DocsAutoCapture to automatically read and process the barcoded invoices thereby greatly reducing the labor and space required to manage all of their invoices.
Medical
This large Medical Facility utilizes Document Management technology provided by D.I.S.C. Imaging Systems to manage over 200 different applications in the Financial and Fiscal offices. Our system design incorporates scanning, ERM and Host integration. The system is providing quick access from both the desktop and Web to over 20 million images.
This large medical clinic utilizes technology from D.I.S.C. Imaging Systems with most of the scanning of patient records from a remote Service Bureau. The document imaging solution, DocsToaster, maintains all the patient information scanned while contributing to HIPAA compliancy with Audit Trail Tracking.
State wide Nursing Association scans patient charts from their various offices utilizing digital copiers. The patient charts are created and structured with TABS by utilizing barcodes. DocsServer and DocsAutoCapture for digital copiers provided all the technology they required at an extremely affordable price.
Banking
This custom solution from D.I.S.C. Imaging Systems incorporates Bar Code scanning/indexing to create structured Mortgage Loans. The loans are created and scanned at multiple branches across several states. Each branch scans and indexes their own loan documentation while structuring the Mortgage Loans by color coded TABS. They currently are scanning with over 12 scanners across the region and storing the images to a centralized Database Server and intelligently backing-up to a NAS device located at a remote branch for Disaster Recovery.
D.I.S.C. Imaging Systems installed DocsServer document imaging at this bank to capture all of their Mortgage Loans. These loans are created and are structured with TABS by utilizing barcodes for high speed capture. DocsServer also image enabled their Host Software and retrievals are from within a Citrix environment.
Legal - Court Case Files
D.I.S.C. Imaging System installed the DocsServer document management system at a major city District Attorney’s office to capture and index all of the office Case Files. DocsServer was selected as the solution because of ease of use and built-in barcode indexing and automated Case File folder structuring with TABS.
The DocsServer System was selected as the document imaging solution and consequently integrated with a court automation system for managing Case Files in Municipal, Circuit and District Courts. DocsServer was chosen for this statewide solution due to cost, ease of use and integration along with native barcode scanning/indexing.
City Government
A large metropolitan city utilizes our technology to scan and index Financial, Human Resources and Accounting records. D.I.S.C., Inc installed COLD technology to store computer-generated reports with Exception Processing of missing Invoices for Accounts Payables. The Human Resources Department utilizes Automated Data Capture to scan and capture handprint written information from Employee Applications. This process eliminates approximately 80% of their data entry labor and at the same time automatically indexes and files these documents to the document imaging system.
This municipal Police Department utilizes the DocsServer document imaging system to manage Incident Reports. The Incident Reports are created and structured with TABS for quick and easy creation and document retrievals. Annotations are applied to images with Redactions to hide sensitive personal information.
County Government
D.I.S.C. Imaging Solutions installed the first document imaging system in a County Courthouse in 1993 and this client today utilizes a Land Records document imaging system specifically designed for Courthouse Records. This technology provides multiple methods of indexing and storing images of Mortgages, Deeds and other County Records with many automated functions. D.I.S.C. Imaging Systems is also providing e-Recording technology for counties to electronically record submissions from attorneys and companies.
The DocsServer document imaging solution captures the unique Tax Payer ID number and stores the Assessment Sheet automatically. DocsServer is also integrated into the County Assessment software providing retrievals from the host application.
State Government
This solution processes and stores all Traffic Tickets and Accident Reports for the Arkansas State Police. D.I.S.C. Imaging Systems designed a Bar Code reading/indexing solution that automatically captures the subject’s demographic information for retrievals from the document repository, both Intranet and Internet. Our custom interface also creates a data stream from the imaging solution to create an input file that ultimately prints Arkansas Titles. In addition, all old Titles microfilmed on thousands of rolls of microfilm are being digitized, indexed and incorporated back into the document imaging solution.
D.I.S.C. Imaging Systems installed the DocsServer System to replace another document imaging solution for State Land Records. Their existing system was becoming too expensive to support and expand and in addition the client wanted to automate their capture process with barcodes. The DocsServer document imaging solution provided reading barcodes from Registered Letters and then performed a database lookup to populate all the index fields automatically.
